Ten Pin Linky (Reading Pins) - And a Winner!!!

First things first, a big congratulations to Tessa from Tales from Outside the Classroom for winning my Bloglovin Giveaway.

Don't worry if you didn't win, you have another chance to win some fabulous prizes in my 100 Followers Giveaway, head over for your chances to win.

Now on to the Ten Pin Linky with Ashley from Just Reed. This week's theme is Reading Ideas.

1.) I love these cards, they're such a fun way to get the students practicing reading using different character voices.

2.) I don't think I really need to say much about this, it's pretty self explanatory & pretty awesome.

3.) I've used this briefly here and there, but plan on fully implementing next year with my kiddos. I think this is a great way to have the student complete a reading response as they're reading at Read to Self, or any kind of independent reading.

4.) I seem to love anything with a tri-fold board. I think they're such a great option when you have limited space and/or bulletin boards.

5.) I've already done this with a 4th grader that I tutor to get him to focus more on punctuation and the sound of his voice when he's reading, it really helped his fluency and made him more aware while he was reading.

6.) Don't most kids want to be in some kind of club? They get to be in a club & they're reading...it's a win, win for everyone!

7.) I love resources that are organized by grader level and/or topic/theme. It makes it so much easier to find what you're looking for.

8.) This is great for me. When it comes to making groups, etc. I'm a very visual person and need to see exactly who is where, where are they going, how can I group them, etc.

9.) Always looking for creative ways to get the kiddos to read and here it is!

10.) Such a great resource to give to parents. Now they know exactly what to tell their kiddos and how to help. Check out the whole blog post this is in, there are some other great ideas there too.

I'm really loving this summer linky party, I've found and re-pinned so many great ideas. I hope you'll join and share some of your favorite reading pins with us!!!
