Linking up with Ashley from Just Reed for her Ten Pin Linky party, this week's them Science & Social Studies Pins.
Ok so I don't really have that many Science & Social Studies pins, I actually only have 10, so I'm just going to post all the ones I have. I think there's a little something for everyone.1.) An understandable way for the little ones to understand elections/voting, by voting for a favorite book.
2.) I thought this was such a cool way to teach kids about this concept. Check it out & see for yourself.
3.) I remember having to learn the states & capitals in the 5th grade, then having to know the location of everything in 7th, this would of been such a fun way to review.
4.) I <3 anchor charts.
5.) Great way to show this concept. It is definitely a tough one for the little guys.
6.) I think I'm actually going to try this with my summer camp kids.
7.) Who doesn't love a good mentor text for a concept?
8.) A great little states of matter sort for the kiddos.
9.) Beautiful. I love this idea. I think I might try this with my camp kids too.
10.) And another good mentor text.
I told you I didn't have much on this board, so it wasn't a tough choice this week. Now I need to go check out everyone else's pins so I can beef up my Science/Social Studies board.
Just letting you know we nominated you for the Leibster Award, although I'm not sure how we missed your previous post. Either way, congrats!
ReplyDeleteAwww thank you so much. I'm very honored to be nominated again. It makes me feel warm & fuzzy. I'll include my answers to your questions in my post tomorrow, it may be piggy backed onto another post, to avoid the blogging faux pas of posting twice in one day. :) Thanks again so much & I'm happy to be a new follower of yours.
