About Me

Hi, it's me Stephanie!

I currently co-teach 3rd grade in a 3/4 building in my hometown.

Speaking of being in-love...I'm married to the hardest working man on the planet, he does everything he can to provide for us and our little guy. The mister and I got married in July 2010, after dating for 7 years. He's my best friend.

The mister and I with our 1st born, Frankie.
(We unfortunately lost our sweet Frank a year later to a freak accident.)

Our 1st dance...this was a long awaited moment!

The mister and I, more recently, at a friends wedding.

The following March we welcomed our little guy into the world. That was truly the most magical day I've ever experienced.

My little guy is growing up way too fast. He's 4 now!

In my spare time, which means when my little guy is sleeping, I LOVE to read and now I'm getting into the blog world. Finally! After a few years of blog stalking, which started during my maternity leave, and after discovering Tpt, I've been inspired! Now during my spare time I'm busy creating products for Tpt. I'm also a shop-a-holic, though my addiction is currently being kept on a very short leash. I'm fortunate to live relatively close to the Jersey Shore (not the one from the show, more south) and I love going to the boardwalk, especially on a warm summer night, and walking the boards.

Well I think that's all for now, if anything new happens, I'll let you know. I look forward to collaborating with all the amazing educators I've seen here. Thanks for stopping in to meet me!!!

  1. We have some things in common, Stephanie. I began my career teaching first graders in the same room where I was a first grader. I've also be a kindie teacher during my 42 years in the classroom.

Hope you stop by my blog when you have a chance.

  2. Jill, Thanks for becoming a follower. I'm so excited to have veteran teacher following me. I've learned so much from the veteran teachers at my school that were teachers when I was there. It's so weird to be their colleague now, but I'm so honored that they're so open & excited to work with me.

  3. Hello Stephanie,

I came across your blog while doing some pinning and I wanted to leave you a quick comment. I too am a basic skill teacher. This is my first teaching position. I travel to two schools a day, in the morning I co-teach the primary grades and in the afternoon I teach basic skills remediation/enrichment with all the 4th, 2nd, 1st and kinder on a daily rotation each week. I have a two year old also, her name is Abby, my greatest accomplishment to date.

I'm looking forward to following your blogging this year and will be trying blogging myself (I'm a newbie).
